Couches & Carpets & Laundry..Oh my!

This past Friday was one of the craziest to date! I spent my morning making sure the carpet was delivered which happened the same time as our washer and dryer came in. Thank goodness most of the neighbors were at work as the two trucks attempted to not bump into each other. The washer and dryer are amazing. We got them for over 40% off during labor day and asked to have them shipped two weeks later...
And they play music when they turn on and when a load ends! It's fantastic.

Then as our friend replaced our carpet (Thanks Bryan!) we got to learn the nitty gritty of how it's done.

Then when Adam was home, we decided that carpet replacing was a little loud and left for the closest IKEA . Adam had never been to IKEA before, so we had to go over the writing of aisles and bins for the couches that we liked and the "Strange, made up" names of different styles of chairs and even milk frothers. Hours later, we finished at the AS IS section. We found a lamp that I fell in love with for half off, along with a sweet couch, only discounted because they were used in the showroom!

It was love at first sight.

More updates soon, specifically about the Weekend of Wylan, Cabinet cleaning, and CURTAINZ!
